![]() The dissertation studies were developed in the Biomaterials, Biomechanics and Tissue Engineering group of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, where he worked in a selective therapy for osteosarcoma using an atmospheric plasma jet, which resulted in a publication. He proceeded to a master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Barcelona and the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, Spain, which was successfully concluded in 2015. Raúl has graduated in Industrial Electronics Engineering at the University of Vigo, Spain in 2013. Raúl Fontelo Rodríguez is currently a Research Assistant at CellCOM research group. He coordinates the Portal Specialist Dermatology, since 2001. Expert Scientific Committee Orpha-Spain for the area of Dermatology and Editor in Chief of the magazine “SKIN” (1987-2012). ![]() Member of the Committee of Experts of the journal “Clinical Medicine”. He is an advisor of the Directorate General of Pharmacy and Health Products, Ministry of Health, Secretary General of the Spanish Group for Pediatric Dermatology (1990-1999) and Honorary Member of the Venezuelan Society of Dermatology. He is a member of IMID-Biobank Consortium and he has directed and organized 67 conferences, symposia and postgraduate training courses. He has supervised four doctoral theses, 3 dissertations, 11 doctoral courses and tutored 20 doctoral works. He has received as principal investigator 59 research projects and clinical trials. He has published 12 books, 82 book chapters, more tan 466 articles in scientific journals and delivered 924 speeches, communications and conferences. He is profesor at the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Santiago de Compostela. He has a degree and PhD in Medicine and Surgery from the Autonomous University of Madrid. Fonseca is the Head of the Medical Surgical Dermatology and Venereology Service at the Hospital Universitario de A Coruña (CHUAC, XXIAC). She moved to Norway in June 2016 to Norwegian University of Science and Thecnology.ĭr. ![]() She is member of Spanish Rheumatology Society (SER) and Spanish Biochemical and Molecular Biology Society. So far, she is co-author of 5 research articles. ![]() She did a second stay in Luc Leybaert lab in 2015 at the University of Gent (Belgium). The first stay was in 2013 in Christian Naus laboratory at the University of British Columbia (Vancouver, Canada). During this three years as a PhD student, she visited two different laboratories thanks to the traveling fellowships from University of A Coruña & Inditex. She obtained a Cibber-bbn fellowship in 2011 and a PhD fellowship from A Xunta de Galicia in 2012 for three years. Raquel obtained her Master´s Degree in 2012 and her PhD in April 2016. José Díaz before obtaining her bachelor degree in Biology in 2011 from the Faculty of Sciences, University of A Coruña. She was working in the Vegetal Phsysiology Research Group at the University of A Coruña with Dr. She joined group as a PhD student in June 2011. ![]()
